Tonight for dindin I made Mrs. Clardy's Easy Chicken Pot Pie.
I don't know if this is how it is supposed to look, but it sure was yummy! I tweaked the recipe a bit, per the personal suggestion of Mrs. Clardy, and doubled the top crust layer. Excellent idea! Also, I added two cans of Veg-All and a bit more chicken broth to the soup mixture due to the added veggies. This recipe can be found at What's for Din Din for all those interested in a yummy to your tummy pot pie.
I also made a home made Key Lime Pie! Nothing fancy just plain good.
Now at 7:45 I am in bed. My pup's (feet) are barking and my back is about to crack
from my ever growing belly.
This is my view as I sit here and type.

Aren't I a great mom? I pulled Margaux's crib as close to the TV as I could just in time for one last episode of Diego tonight before bedtime.
Danny, my Love, is cleaning the kitchen for me. Maddie and Dan Dan have been rewarded with a little bit of TV time since they were absolute ANGELS this afternoon. And, sweet little Harry Jack is sleeping due to a very needed early bed time, because of no nap today. Ahhhhhh...me happy!

YEA...glad you liked it! But, I don't know why you guys keep ruining it with vegetables...why try and make it healthy? :) I swear I almost reached through the computer to get a piece of that key lime pie...looks SOOO good!
I'm cracking up at your belly shot. We need a full side shot of the belly, okay? Don't be shy...be proud!
I'm sitting here with my husband watching ESPN...at least I have my computer to look at! :)
I'm LOL at this post. I LOVE the shot of your belly, the computer, Margaux watching Diego. I wish I was there with you. Sounds like a nice relaxing night. Now I see why you were screening my call. You didn't want to be interrupted and have to get up to get the phone. The chicken pot pie looks good and your key lime pie even better. I'm with Jennifer, I wanted to grab a piece off the computer.
Oh, just noticed you're almost down to double digits on the countdown...woohoo!!! By the way, I've been meaning to ask...do you want me to be in the delivery room with you?
Jennifer YOU ARE SO FUNNY! I am shaking from laughing--choking actually! Sure, why not. You get yourself down here, you can come on in.
Yes, the pic of Margaux watching Diego is hilarious. It looks like she's straining to get a good view of her hero. I am going to make that chicken pot pie some time this week, I think. Looks mighty tasty.
As I type this, The Cosby Show just ended and the theme for Sanford and Sons just got done playing. LOL at that theme music!!
The above deleted comment was mine. I had a spelling error and tried to fix it but deleted it.
I'm going to make the chicken pot pie. And your round crib? Tres chic!
Thanks Nancy! My sweet husband MADE if for me when we had our first baby 10 1/2 years ago. I am proud of it and must say it is even better looking in person!
Yes, Dan IS the man for building that thing. It is very nice. And Denise MAKES the bedding to put on it, although I think she got lazy with Margaux and bought some bedding. WHat a slacker.
And don't forget the little gold saying on the crib says, "To my pretty lady and all our angels." Ahhhhhh, so sweet!
Oh no he didn't put that on the crib...oh my goodness, Denise...I don't ever want to hear one word of complaining about your husband (not that you do)!
By the way, let Dolly know that I can be there for her delivery too. You know...to hold Leland's hand while he is holding Dolly's hand.
Is the gold little saying on the truth really there? Or is this some kind of urban legend?
Thanks for the cooking tip. Jenny girl, I bet you had no idea that you would be a cooking mentor to all of us, huh? I will have to try this recipe out.
I agree with Jennifer....that belly shot is not sufficient. We want a better one so have Danny take a picture of you tonight with you standing up.
Speaking of your belly....do you have a webcam? I REALLY, REALLY think you should set it up in the delivery room and let us witness the birth....I mean....after all...we have prayed for you, we have emotionally invested in this pregnancy with you, we have blogged with you....WE ALL NEED TO BE THERE. Don't be shy...you Va-ja-ja looks just like ours so don't be subconscious. We will minimize our computer screens if that would make you more comfortable. I think you are having a girl for some reason.
Okay, I don't know what I was thinking, but I didn't realize that is your belly in the picture!! Too funny!! LOVE Margaux's picture! Looks like you've got a good set up there...
Kristi! I can't believe you said that! You are a mess.
And, Jennifer, just so you know, I'm making your chicken pot pie for a little play group tomorrow here at my house. Who wouldv'e thought when you posted that thing that you had a hit on your hands?!
And to clear up any confusion, Danny had a tiny engraving put on the crib that said "To my pretty lady and all of our angels". (wiping a tear).
Wouldn't that be cool to have my baby birth live and on video. I would do it if I could, I have not problem with the whole birth thing. At one point it is all just "an area" to bring a baby into the world.
Nancy, my husband place a little gold engraved thingy (like on a trophy) on the cribs bottom ring that says "To may pretty lady and all of our angels." I think he meant it to be a personal thing to me and wishes he hadn't screwed it into the crib for everyone to see. Oh well.
Kristi we will have to see about the belly shot. My belly is so big! Danny has lovingly started to call me Big Mama.
You so deserve the rest! lol at Margaux watching cartoons right before bed. and love the belly shot:)
99 days....WOOHOOO!!!! :)
Denise, you're down to your double digits now! That's so exciting!!!!! I can't wait for your baby to get here. I can't wait until Christmas!!!
By the time I get to leaving a comment everyone has such funny and quick remarks that mine seem so serious. Wait a minute, I am the serious one. Oh well...know that I do love your blog and the entry for today.
