Shutterfly

My newest obsession....Shutterfly! I "lub" (as Harry Jack would say) Shutterfly! Below is the book I made for Maddie's 10th birthday (Monday). It, surprisingly, turned out great. So great that I wanted to share it with you, so you can do one too.

I don't have time to scrap book anymore, but I can click and drag pictures. This 20 page, 8x8 photo book cost around $30.00, I think. I happened to came across a whole bunch of pre-paid Shutterfly gift cards for photo books, on a Target clearance rack, each for $19.99 plus free shipping, so my book was a little cheaper.

So check out Target for those prepaid gift cards with free shipping, and make a memory photo book for someone you love. I am going to start doing one for each of my children, each year for their birthday, so when they get older they can have a memory book for each year of their life. I guess Margaux will benefit the most since she is only 11 months.

Anyway, it's a neat idea that I just wanted to share with you. If you want to see the whole book I made, email me and I will send you a link via Shutterfly.

Denise, what a precious (to borrow a word from peg) gift! You and Maddie are both so beautiful and you definitely look like mother and daughter. It seems like just yesterday that child was born and brought home to the love shack...man, I'm getting old!

You did a great job, Denise, with a great idea. That is so special and I know all your children will love having their own book of special memories. Good job! Hope your beautiful Maddie has a great birthday.

I love the picture of Maddie in her white dress. She has beautiful hair! I am planning on doing this for Sarah's first birthday. So you buy the gift cards for shutterfly at Target? Email me shutterfly's site. Thanks Denise.

Denise, I don't know why but this book has almost made me tear up! It's SO GOOD and Maddie will LOVE it! What a way to make your little girl feel so special and you and Danny are great at that. You're a great mommy! Thanks for the idea. I'll have to keep it tucked away for the future. Although I did make Leland a book like this last year for V-day. He loved that too! I did it in a storybook about us. Thanks for sharing. Maddie is a beautiful girl inside and out!

Suzy- yes Maddie's birthday is the 11th. You don't have to buy the gift cards at Target. I was just scanning the end caps at Target one day and happened to find gift card boxes of clearanced Shutterfly "projects." They had calendars, children's story books, photo memory books, key chains, etc.---all discounted. Shutterfly and Target have a partnership I guess because all these gift card projects have "free shipping when you buy from Target" on the box. You can also go to Shutterfly.com. They always have sales on projects. The whole Target thing was just something I happened upon. Next time you're at Target, just go to the electronics dept. and ask a sales clerk if they have the Shutterfly gift cards.

I got your e-mail, and I hope that everyone there is better, here I have Matt and Natti sick, so I know the feeling. I asked Matt about that paper of the little house, He never took it out, so I looked around just in case and nothing here, Sorry!!!
E-mail me so I can see the whole project done!
YOu are great, 4 kids and still can do all this, I have 3 and I pull my hair for time...
Love you,
Allie.

LOVE THE BOOK!!! So precious. You have got my wheels turning for gift ideas for my kids, grandmother, parents, etc. The sky is the limit. What a neat keepsake. I too have so many unfinished scrapbooks.

I started getting sick tonight out of the blue. I wonder if I am having psychosomatic, sympathy sickness b/c of all of you not feeling well. Ha! I am about to go to bed and hopefully sleep this off.

Thanks for sending me the link for the book, I tried last night to e-mail you and for some reason I have some problem with comcast and incredimail...So I decided to write you here. IT WAS WONDERFUL, amazing job and I agree with your sister, I love the part where you documented her coming to christ. Danni did it not too long ago and I regret taking a picture of her now. Tell Maddie girl that we wish her the best in her 10th b-day, and that she is always in our minds and hearts, I miss her smile so much, she's such a wonderful girl, and my girls looked up to her all the time, and I miss her being here to be the good role model she was for them. But I know we will meet again. Give her lots of hugs and kisses.
Allie.
