Help! Looking for a Bible verse
Good morning girlies. I need help and this is, for sure, the fast way to get it. I am looking for the Bible verse that talks about the, "Lord being pleased with a womans quiet spirit, or a sweet spirit." I cannot remember the exact words, but when I read it years ago, I was convicted. I thought is was in Psalms. Do any of you know what verse I am talking about? If so, please give it to me~Thanks!

Sounds familiar. Not sure though. Maybe in proverbs. I will search for it.
Is it 1 Peter 3:4?
Denise- Just realized I invited dlogan instead of dlogan7 to my blog. Sorry about that. Come visit anytime.
YES!!!! Thank you Jennifer! I knew one of you spiritual Godly girls would come thru for me! And quick too!
I cannot tell a lie...I Googled it.
Even so thanks! I have been up since 5:00 trying to find it on the net and couldn't.
what's the matter, Denise? Are you feeling convicted about something?
Yes, Denise....tell us ALL ABOUT IT!!! I haven't read the verse yet but just from your litle teaser in the post....I AM CONVICTED!!!
No silly girls, I am using that verse in a memory book I am making for Maddie's bday. I am in a hurry to get it done so I can send it in to get back by the 11th. Actually, I am using verses 3
and 4.
That's great Denise. You're already training her to be submissive. I tell you what, Michelle Duggar must have really made an impression on you.
Your sister Donna is so Funny, I have never read that one, so I'm on my way right now!
Allie.
Denise, I'm a friend of Hannah's and have been lurking at your blog. I feel like I know the family since I've been reading Donna's & Dolly's blogs too. Just wanted to note a couple things for the record:my family will be dressing up for Thanksgiving this year. (While I've been searching through old Olan Mills & Sears pictures at my parent's house,I've found several suitable outfits for my girls to wear, thanks to old-fashioned Sunday at church.) And number two: Donna just made another Michelle Duggar reference. (Just figured I'd count the references on all of our blogs for kicks.) Thanks for letting me comment. If you need an invite to my blog, just say the word.
Joy, you have to invite the commentor, Kristi, on this blog. Dolly said she knows your brother really well. Kristi, Joy's brother is Bradley McNeill. He went to LU and married Kathy Pate. Denise, email me Kristi's email and I'll send it to Joy!
P.S. Denise, way to try to get us off on a spiritual note for the day. Too bad I'm just catching up on MLISF!
Joy, I would love to go to your blog. dlogan7@verizon.net
Funny, I just asked Hannah to invite my friends Kristi and Jennifer to her blog. I think they know your brother. It is so funny how distant lives can innertwine---is that a word?
I am glad that your family will be dressing up for Thanksgiving. Your children will love it. A memory to pass down from gen to gen.
Okay, question---and don't laugh--Do you sew? I know Michelle Duggar does. I do too (laughing)! Anyway, Pilgrim and Indian costumes are pretty easy to sew.
Can't wait to see your blog!
Joy, by the way, I think my husband Danny went to Liberty with your brother????
HPS, I have been gone all day and am just getting caught up too. Who knew a Bible verse could generate so many comments!
I told my brother this weekend that I felt like I knew y'all and he totally knew who your husbad was. He spoke very highly of him. And he knows of your family as well. He and his wife are still in Forest, so I guess I feel sort of connected to people that know each other, the same people, the same area, etc. I just never know if the other people will remember. BTW, I cannot believe the polls picture. I remember taking one daughter and having a tough time. You make four look easy!!
Denise, why in the world would I laugh that you asked me if I sew? I might have laughed a couple of years ago when I made fun of people that scrapbooked, sewed, and knit. Now, however, I would simply acknowledge that I do all of the above. Knitting...not so well yet, but I've joined a group that I believe will further my abilities! Will have to check into the patterns for Thanksgiving. I might should start now!!
Denise, do the map thing. Everybody's doing it...Joy, you too! It's puts all those lurkers on the radar!
Denise, love the new map! it's fun to see who's been checking out your blog too. I see Jennifer from Greenville and Aunt Barbara from Jacksonville has already up and at'em checking out the blogs! hahahah!
Dolly, for some reason Forest and Lynchburg NEVEr show up on my map and I know you, mom, dawn and dayna read my blog. Strange. So what doe , , mean on the map? I'm still not sure about that one.
I love the map! It shows exactly who's looking at the blogs. It's better than blogpatrol.
That's weird that Lynchburg or Forest don't show up. That's kind of good though so people don't think I'm psycho when they see all the hits from here.
Thank you HPS for introducing us to the map. You're such a blog trend setter.
