So this is my view today...our fourth day snowed in. We had another snow storm hit us on Friday night, and basically we have been home ever since. It's fun. Cozy! Right now I am looking at slushy snow falling from the sky and it is starting to accumulate...again. I just turned the news on to see if school is canceled tomorrow...My thoughts as I sit here:
1. School- "Lord, please don't let school be closed tomorrow!"
2. Blogging-hmm, I feel like I've come to a fork in the road. Do I keep blogging or is my season over?
3. April 16th-this weekend never looked so good! Danny and I are getting away BY OURSELF and going to a wedding. It's long over due. We have not been away together since July 2006, the weekend I told Danny I thought I was pregnant with Margaux.
4. Dress-got to find a dress for the wedding. It's a beach wedding. Anyone know of a cute dress anywhere?
5. Aww Mann, just found out school is closed tomorrow.
6. Din Din--Breakfast???? Sounds good to me.
7. Tomorrow- I've got to get out of this house! Lunch at La Carretta??? With my 5 children---aww man, maybe not.

#4. If I had to find a dress for a beach wedding right now, I would throw up! My skin is so pastey white and I've probably gained at least 3 pounds from being snowed in since Friday!!

Good post! I love reading your thoughts. They always make me laugh. Hate to say it but I bet your kids will be out of school all week! Once this snow melts, we need to do some dress shopping. We may have to take a trip to the queen city again.

Isn't it funny how when it snows we talk about playing with our kids, making cookies, sitting by the fire and then by day two we're totally ticked that school is canceled? Just like everything else in life...moderation.
Ok, have we talked about Shabby Apple on here before? They've got really cute dresses and most of them are under $100. It's shabbyapple.com. I love the style of their dresses although I didn't see a ton of "beachy" things. But, it never hurts to look. I also like how you can put in your body type and they find dresses that look the best on you.
Please don't stop blogging. I know how you feel but just blog whenever you feel like it...no pressure from me...okey dokey?
Hmmm, what's La Carretta? Sounds good though. Wish they had one in Greenville with a Julie and a Denise in it!

Ok Denise, I just went back to Shabby Apple and I'm lovin their little girl dresses too! Oh my goodness, I'm thinking mine and Lane's Easter dress just might be coming from there too.
Denise, I am finally catching up on everyones blogs and it is nice. This snow has me stuck but gives me some time to catch up, so that is one good thing.

I am with you on the blogging. I am on the fence right now. I really want to keep doing it for "scrapbooking" reasons. But it is becoming much harder for some reason. I hope you dont stop. You always make me laugh.

I feel the same way about blogging. I can't seem to find the time AT ALL anymore and everyone has pretty much given up on Simply Smalley but I don't want to lose the relationships and it is a good way to journal our family events if I would just stay on top of it. What to do...what to do?
ahhhh man, don't quit blogging! But i feel the same way. I love the scrapbooking part of it and all the memories it provides but it is just getting dull lately. not you..me! Lol! Okay have fun on your outing but hopefully we will not here about a new surprise on this here blog. tee hee.. Breakfast suppers are great, the kids especially like it if we have cocoa puffs.
