Below are some pictures of Ashley Jane's first bath yesterday. When I changed her diaper early yesterday morning I realized the umbilical cord had come off. Wooo Hooo! I could not wait for the sun to come up so I could give Sweet Little Jane a proper bath. The funny thing is, just like my sister Dolly and her baby a few weeks ago, I couldn't find the umbilical cord ANYWHERE! Then later on in the afternoon I found it. There it lay in the middle of the living room floor. Funny!
Anyway, the bath went well and Baby Jane fell fast asleep when it was all over.
She's a sweetheart girl. Thank you Jesus for Ashley Jane!

Baby Jane is SO beautiful! I love the smell they have after their bath too. Oh and by the way, we found Michael umbilical cord too...under his cradle in our room. GROSS!
I'm going to guess Harry Jack is the culprit? Sounds like him:)
I love the new Jane pictures! She seems so calm and quiet. I love her big eyes sticking out of the towel with her pacy! But wait, does she already have one of those blankies I just sent her?! Oh well, Caroline has 2 of them, too!
I'm laughing at the umbilical cord thing. You should have taken a pic of it just laying in the middle of the floor!
What a precious and sweet little girl. Love the polka dot towel/blanket?? so cute. and I love the pink pb blanket! Can't have enough of those. Keep the posts coming, I love to hear about pop tarts in the printer, drinks in the computer, ect..

I sat here and read your post and you sound so calm about things - at least through the computer. :) How do you do it? I just remember how tired you are right after the baby comes home and I am amazed that you can do all you do. Of course, I guess you don't really have a choice so that kind of helps. :) Well, I've said it before and I'll say it again, you're my hero!

I am sooooooo sorry. I just realized that I have yet to congratulate you on baby Jane. First off, congrats!!! I am so very excited for you and Danny. 5 is crazy, but who with 5 would do it any other way??? Also, I LOVE the name you chose. Just love it! Sorry that I get to news when it's history...that's what 5 will do to a gal!

She is beautiful. I sat in front of your family this past Sunday at the Living Christmas tree (can you beleive I am still going to those!) - and they said what a good baby she is, I know you are so happy!
