So you are probably wondering what this, my second post for today, is about. Well, yesterday I went to the Dr. because I have a sinus infection. While I was there, with all four of my children, (9,6,2,and 5 months...... in which one was only wearing a diaper....... due to the major poo poo she did in her car seat on the way to the Dr........ and the poo poo was EVERYWHERE....... and I forgot to pack another outfit in the diaper bag......a situation my sweet husband will probably never have to experience).......anyway, the Dr. wanted me to come back next week to take my blood to check my cholesterol. I said, "Are you kidding? Take it now I can't bring all these children back here!"
Well, the results are in. I have high cholesterol!!!!!! My HDL is at 238 and should be lower then 200. My LDL is 150 and should be lower then 130. I know that one of them is a good cholesterol, but it really doesn't matter since both are high.
My Dr. said that he was going to send me some diets in the mail. Embarrassing! Now I really feel old.
I just want to shout out to my sista's to get your cholesterol checked. We Reber's know how to eat and cook. You may have high cholesterol too, and your hubby's.
Okay, nowthe teeth. Margaux has TWO teeth! I am shocked.
Nursing + baby teeth= OUCH!!!!!

Yikes Denise! I'm glad you got it checked out so you can work on getting it back down. If it makes you feel any better, my joints have been aching lately. Talk about feeling old. I think I may have a case of early arthritis! Mom has me on some vitamins for your joints! Embarrising!
I know what you mean about the teeth hurting.
Hold on...rewind...Do you have to quit nursing when babies get teeth?
LOL! I would have loved to have seen you and your circus act enter the doctor's office...especially with Margaux in her diaper! People probably thought y'all were white trash. They probably looked at you in pity. And to top it off, you have hight cholesterol. It does run in our family, though. Maybe you should get a perscription for Lipitor?!
No. Carol never bit me, but some kids do nibble on the nipple (so I've heard). I've actually heard of babies biting. OUCHY.
Okay Dolly, TMI!
Hannah,You don't have to quit nursing, it really just depends on your baby and how bad they bite.
There are ways to work with the baby to help them not bite. Some babies understand and don't bite, some still bite. Dan Dan would not stop biting so I quit with him. By the way, he also had a biting problem as a toddler.
Margaux has not been too bad. Maybe it is just a male/boob thing.
What do you do? Spank them or what? Oh...the thought of that makes me cringe. How old is Margaux?
By the way...where are your other friends Denise? Like Julie and Nikki and others you sent your link to? Do they ever check out your blog?
I love to eat! Us Johnson's could give you Reber's a run for your money! We love to eat! Speaking of, I need to go eat lunch!
Margaux will be 5 months on the 15th.
