A sweet friend of mine, Lauryn, recently drew my attention back to this blog of mine. I had forgotten about it for several months, and since this blog is my photo album'ing or scrape booking for my children...here it goes!
A quick recap from Thanksgiving 2012 to the first part of April 2013.
The sweetest two Pilgrims ever!!! I LOVE this picture!
I need to get it printed to hang on the wall.
December 23, 2012, Harry Jack was finally allowed to attend the "grown up Christmas dinner" at Mom and Dad's house. He was one excited boy! You have to be 8 years old and older to attend this dinner.
The "grown up" Logan family.Just a few things to nibble on before the big meal!
Danny and our brother in law's, Leland and Roy.
Getting ready to open a early Christmas giftfrom Grammy and Granddaddy.
Bronco's Tebow jersey for Harry Jack.
(Poor Tebow! I miss him as a Bronco!)
An Uggla jersey for Danny.
Our dessert! Well, one of our desserts.
A 5 layer chocolate cake with chocolate mouse in the middle.
Delish!
Time for the grown ups to do a little gift exchange. Sweet knife!
Donna doing a little dance as she hands me my gift.
Later, late that night, Danny and I hung (yes, hung it in the air) this beautiful yard thing from two tree's on either side of Dolly and Leland's drive way. It was payback from the year before when Leland and my other BIL Roy placed it in our front yard Christmas Eve, without us knowing. This train stayed hung and lit for a couple weeks.
Christmas Eve night!
All the grandchildren holding up their age!
Opening Grammy and Granddaddy's gifts on Christmas Eve.
It's a hot mess of a good time.
My sister Donna. She makes me laugh!
I think she was telling her little girl Charlotte,
"Look, Mommy has a blankie too."
A trampoline! We put it in their room!
Lego's for Lego loving Harry Jack!
Just want she wanted!
Santa bought me one too!
Crossbow!!!
New Year's Eve we traveled to see my sister Donna and her family in Charlotte. We took the children to this trampoline place called Sky High. They loved it! Here are a few video's.
I thought this was a cool picture of Margaux. Everything looks so blurry around her. It's almost like I photoshopped her into a bad picture.
Ahh, February 14, Valentines Day! Margaux's teacher Mrs. Green had a 5 course meal planned for her students. It was adorable! The children had to put on their Sunday best! The parents were the kitchen help and waiters. It was the sweetest thing ever. It took a lot of work on Mrs. Green's part, but so worth it. A good teacher is such a blessing!
This is Mrs. Green and Margaux at Christmas.
(a bit stretched for some reason)
Mrs. Green taught all the children real table manors, like where here to place their napkin and how to place their utensils in a cross type shape on their plate when they were finished eating. Love that Mrs. Green!Show time for Maddie! This year she tried out for 2 musical theater shows at Liberty University. She was blessed, honored, to make both shows. It guess it is a rule that characters cannot come out from behind the stage in costume or makeup. This is our sweet girl after we saw her perform in, Carousel.
March 15th! Margaux Jeanne's 6th birthday. Margaux, Harry Jack and I happened to be visiting Donna and her family in Charlotte, on the 15th, so we celebrated at SAS cupcakes!
Spring time around here is big time for the boys in our family. This year Liberty University opened its, almost completed, new baseball field. Sparky spotted a few cute little girls and wanted to come say hello before the game started. Jane was not intimidated by Sparky!
Margaux and my niece Beatrice were a little bit shy at first.
Margaux and Sparky
I made Aunt Debbie get int the picture too! Jane watching fireworks after the game was over.
Sweetgirl and her daddy!
Easter, March 31, 2012
Margaux was one of the first ones up!
Followed by Jane!
This boy LOVES Peeps and the bunny
brought some oversized ones this year.
We went to Dolly and Leland's house for Easter Lunch. I just happened to get a picture of these pretty girls, Maddie and my nieces Sydney, Stella and Millie.
Here, the little ones are getting ready for an Easter Egg
hunt that my sister Dawn and Danny's
sister Debbie prepared for them.
Harry Jack found the golden egg with $5 inside! One last Easter picture of our sweet kiddos! Harry Jack is SO funny! He's always making a funny face.
Early this Spring, Jane learned how to ride a bike.
She taught herself and shocked us all!
Opening Day for baseball.
We have an Oriole and a Cub.
Danny and my dad.
My parents with Harry Jack.
