Happy Valentine Swap Gift From Rose!

When I pulled up in front of my house today, I glanced on the front porch and noticed a BIG box on my porch! It was all I could do to unload my truck of children, lunch boxes, book bags and other junk into the house, so I could retrieve my box! I just knew it had to be my Valentine Swap gift from my blog friend Rose!

When I opened my box this is what I saw...

I loved it already because it looked like some sort of grocery store shopping bag, (I love using those things), but it was BETTER than that.
It is an insulated bag--you know they type of bag that keeps things cold or hot for a while! HELLO!!!! LOVE IT! LOVE the "L" on it too!

As soon as I opened the bag, the sweet little girl in the above picture was super quick to find a prize for her, as well as my other 4 kiddos!

Thanks Rose! They loved the candy and it made for a sweet after school snack.

Now I need to say that one of the reasons why I LOVED this swap gift so much is because Rose sent me a little bit of her home state in this swap. Until I met Rose (via the blog), the only thing I really knew about her state was that this lovely couple...

was from there.

So what did Rose send me from "The Natural State?"

"This ain't no diamond...
This ain't no Rose
So catch your breath and pause
Cause its cheesy straws made from
ARKANSAS"
Can I just say Yuu'um, and I'm not even at a fancy party or bridal shower. I got cheese straws all to myself!

Next...

A little hot sauce from Arkansas
to spice up your night!

When I showed this to my husband,
he said two words.
SUPER BOWL! I agree!

Up Next!

"This should add a little pep to your step,
straight from Arkansas.
"

I'm hoping to be peppin in
my steppin in the morning!

But wait, there's more!

"A little taste from Arkansas"

It's a great cook book direct from AR.
I cannot wait to make baked
French Toast on Saturday morning!

Last, but certainly not least...
"Roses are red
Violets are blue
Here's some good smelling stuff
Just for you!!
And it's not from Arkansas"

A very NICE Tyler Candle and
some No. 2 By Poo-Pourri
.

Okay, this No.2 stuff is GREAT! LOVE IT! I haven't tried it yet, but I must say I am excited to see if it truly works. When my husband saw this he said, "Does this girl know you or what?" I'm not trying to give TMI, but we girls can be ruthless when we walk into a...ahem...stinky public bathroom. This No.2 stuff should make me feel quite comfortable when I need to...ahem...go...if you know what I mean.

Rose, thank you so much for the sweet gifts. I love that you sent me some of your home state! Very creative. And thanks for the extra candy too! I put that in a "safe place."

okay..the #2 stuff was supposed to be a joke. But I always wanted to buy that stuff to see if it really worked. So let us all know. I hope you liked your stuff. It wasn't very Valentiney, but I was trying to be creative. Hope you have a great Valentines day!

oh and don't put the pepper jelly on toast, it might taste weird. I just put it over a slab of cream cheese and serve with crackers..yummm..sooo good. You might already know that, but I was invisioning the kids eating it on their toast and saying, "What in the world?"

Great gift Rose!!! I'm laughing at the pic of Bill and Hill. I'm also laughing that Harry Jack is kissing his candy! And I was going to recommend what Rose said...put that yummy pepper jelly over a block of cream cheese and serve with crackers. YUMMY!

Way to go Rose! Great gift

So many funny things about this post.

1. You trying to unload all your kids and their junk as fast as possible so you could get to your gift.
2. Picture of old Bill & Hill. You could not have found a better picture.
3. The Poo-pourri! That is funny!
4. Rose getting nervous about you feeding your kids pepper jelly for breakfast.

Denise, you hit the jackpot with these gifts. Rose was good to you and that insulated bag is too cute.

What a cute, CREATIVE box of fun! I love the theme of Rose's home state! (Hmm, maybe that should be a future swap idea!)
Tyler candles are MY FAVORITE! (they may not be from AR, but they ARE from Texas...close enough!)
That poo- pouri! Hahaha That is funny!

Happy Valentine's Day!

The poo pouri stuff really works! just sayin'. have you read the directions on it? You can actually spray it right in the toilet and it will eliminate any odor. I love the gifts from Rose's home state! That's really cool. And the bag is adorable!

#2 poo-pourri...HILARIOUS!!! I have got to find out where I can buy that in bulk...my husband can eat one bite of a saltine and has to head to the bathroom. We need this desperately in our house!

Rose, those are some GREAT gifts! I love the insulated bag...I want one of those. Great idea to go with an Arkansas theme (by the way, aren't you married to your cousin?) Denise, you are one lucky gal!

OK, with all this talk of the Poo-pourri, your wonderful gift has been lost. HA! You did great!!!! Denise, you got some good stuff and your description of everything was so funny. Especially the pic of Bill and Hil. That was great!!!

Jennifer, you make me laugh talking about poor Don. I thought the same thing about my house with two teenage boys. I do have to say that Olivia can clear a room as well. It must be the Smalley genetics since i never emit ANY body odor....EVER!!!! HA!

GREAT JOB ROSE!!!!!
