Give me a SGive me a P.
Give me a A.
Give me a R.
Give me a K.
Give me a Y!
What does that spell?
SPARKY!
Okay, okay! Anyway, last night we took the children to meet Sparky, the Liberty University Flames mascot. When we first moved here, Danny signed the children up to be a Flames Kid Club member. A meet and greet with various Flames athletic teams, meeting Sparky, along with a free kids meal at Chick-Fil-A is one of the perks of being a member. Another perk-admission to home games!
This weekend is our first home game. Wooohooo! Let's go Flames!
And, by the way, EVERY time I here the name Sparky, I laugh! It so reminds me of Chevy Chase in Christmas Vacation. Good movie, good mindless movie!

I tell you what, you all just jumped right back into life in VA and you didn't mess around! That's great! You guys are always on the go now!!!
When I saw the title of the post, I thought it was about Sparky on Christmas Vacation! So funny!! And is that Felicia Godomski in the background of that picture?
Have you stopped smiling yet? I can just feel your giddiness over being back in Lynchburg. That is so fun that you are raising your kids in the whole LCA/TRBC/LU environment. The fun never ends.
I'm laughing at my friend, Felicia in the back ground. Go Kids Club!!!! Great pic of your fam!
I thought the same thing when I saw Sparky...Chevy Chase.
I never knew there was a Flames Kids Club. I need to look into that for Adam. I wonder if it is too late?
I am laughing at Donna spotting Felicia in the back of the picture. Good eyes Donna.
We miss you guys!!!! It feels like we haven't seen you in a year :) But I am so glad you are having so much fun now back home!
I knew that happy smiling face in the background looked familiar!!
Sparky makes me think about AWANA. When did they name him that? He wasn't named that when we were there was he??
What fun! good idea, Danny.
Lynchburg, how I love thee! What a great place to be raised and to raise a family. I so enjoyed living in the burg and am glad you are back home where you and Danny's love story began. I hope he loves his new job too and that everyone is enjoying attending LCA.
