This post, and the slide show below, is dedicated to my sweet friend Julie Day.
Julie and I have been friends for the past 8 or 9 years. A friend of both of ours introduced us to each other and something clicked and Julie and I have been good friends ever since. We rarely get to see each other but we can talk on the phone for a good hour anytime we call each other!
I had sent Julie some little dresses of Margaux's to embroider for me. Well, today I received this box in the mail full of sweet goodies for me and Margaux.
Julie sews beautifully and has made so many sweet things for Me, Margaux and Maddie too. She is truly a great sewer. Her work is incredible. And, above all, she is the greatest friend! Danny always tells me that he wished I had a friend here in SWF like my friend Julie Day.
Thank you Julie for your friendship, and for the beautiful things you make for me!
Below is a slide show of the things she sent me today, as well as some other things she has made for me. For those of you who were at Donna's little luncheon, Julie made the diaper bag and little bibs and blanket I gave Donna. Her website is www.carryitjstyle.com . I LOVE those Pottery Barn dresses! I wanted to get them for AP when I was prego and never did. All of that stuff is SOOOOOOOOO cute! I just checked out the web site and I love everything. She should hire you to be her marketer! :)
I ditto all that stuff about Julie. Denise, I'm so glad you two are such good friends. For any of you who are reading this, and need drapes or curtains made, Julie is a real professional at that, too. She's made drapes for me a couple times....both times they turned out just beautiful.
Yes I forgot to say in the post that she makes BEAUTIFUL curtains/drapes. She can make anything! She is the best!
But then, of course, Denise is a #1 self taught seamstress, as well. The curtains, drapes, and even the beautiful flower girl dresses she has made, are all unbelievably gorgeous. Denise, you're a wonder!!
I tell you, that Julie Day. I used to work for her husband you know. :)

I just checked out her website and loved it. It is very affordable as well. One question, how do you order. I tried clicking on the item (s) I liked, but nothing happened. Maybe I missed a step.
Suzanne-I don't know how to order off her site. I just email her. Donna put an order into her, for that pumpkin and she is going to have the pumpkins in the mail to her on Monday!!!! I will email you Julies email address.
Carry It J Style offers GREAT customer service. I had an e-mail into her inquiring about those pumpkins and my question was returned within hours! Julie Day is a piece of work!!! As a return customer, I would definitely recommend this artist!
